Terms & Conditions
Course Fees, Payments, Refunds and Cancellations — Rebel Pilates Education
1. Course Access
1.1 Access to online course content begins upon successful registration.
1.2 Course access remains available for 24 months from the date of registration, or until course completion, whichever comes first.
1.3 For students on a payment plan, ongoing access depends on instalments being kept up to date (see Section 5).
2. Refunds
2.1 A refund may be granted where we can confirm, from our records, that online course content has not been accessed, and the request is made at least 31 days before your registered workshop date.
2.2 Once online course content has been accessed, or once you're within 31 days of your workshop date, course fees become non-refundable and the registration cannot be cancelled.
2.3 For students on a payment plan, refund requests can only be considered before course access has been granted. Once access has been provided, fees are non-refundable under the terms in 2.2.
2.4 No refunds are given for partial payments or unused course content once access has begun.
2.5 Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other New Zealand consumer protection law. See Section 8.
3. Postponing or Changing Your Workshop Date
3.1 You may postpone your workshop once, free of charge, provided you give at least 31 days' notice before your original workshop date.
3.2 Requests to change your workshop date within 31 days of the original date will incur a $300 change fee. This reflects the administrative and scheduling costs involved in accommodating a late change, including rebooking workshop capacity and materials.
3.3 For payment plan students, deferral or transfer of your enrolment must be requested in writing. We'll assess these requests based on genuine factors such as availability of future intakes and workshop capacity, and the fee in 3.2 may apply where a late change is involved.
4. Payment Plans
4.1 A payment plan option may be available for selected courses. Details of instalment amounts and schedule are confirmed at the time of registration.
4.2 Your total course fee and instalment amount are confirmed at registration, reflecting any discounts or promotions applied at that time.
4.3 Payments are processed automatically via Stripe, using the payment details you provide at registration. It's your responsibility to keep these details current to avoid failed payments.
5. Missed or Failed Payments
5.1 If a payment fails, we'll notify you and ask you to update your payment details promptly.
5.2 If a failed payment isn't resolved within 14 days, your course access may be suspended until payment is brought up to date.
5.3 Continued non-payment may result in removal from the course, withholding of certification until outstanding fees are paid, and/or referral of the outstanding balance to a third-party collections agency. We'll always attempt to contact you and offer a chance to resolve payment issues before taking these steps.
6. Agreement
6.1 By enrolling and choosing a payment plan, you agree to these terms and authorise Rebel Pilates to collect payments as scheduled.
7. Questions
7.1 Any queries about these terms should be directed to hello@rebeleducation.nz.
8. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
8.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other New Zealand consumer protection legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8.2 If our services fail to meet a guarantee under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you may be entitled to a remedy under that Act regardless of the refund conditions set out above.
